What is the difference between User and Owner?
The “Owner” of an e-gold Account is simply the direct owner of the account. An Owner may be a human being, a company, a government agency or trust. An e-gold "User", on the other hand, is a human being who, acting on behalf of and with the express authorization of the account Owner, directly interacts with the e-gold System to exercise control of the account and any value contained in the account. |

I can't change my email address. What am I doing wrong?
After you've entered your new email address, and clicked the "Validate Email" button, a pop-up window should open informing you that either an email verification code has been sent or that there is a syntax error in the email address you entered. If this pop-up window is not opening, this is probably the cause of your problem. To remedy this problem: Verify that your web browser is enabled to allow JavaScript and that your web browser (or third party software) allows pop-ups from e-gold.com. |

What
is a Turing number?
A Turing number is a randomly generated image that displays a series of digits. A user attempting to login to his or her account must be able to read back the digits and correctly echo them back to the e-gold website. The purpose of the Turing number is to prevent automated access to accounts. For the visually impaired, an audible turing number is available which provides the same benefits of the turing number, except that it is presented audibly rather than visually. |
